1946 sold to Burnett Steam Ship Co., Newcastle, renamed WALLSEND
1959 renamed BORDAGAIN, flying the Liberian flag
1967 renamed DARLING under the Liberian flag
Demolished at Split 1976

Known as the "Scandinavian Type".

Some of the class were converted into Crane Ships with the addition of two heavy lift Derricks.

PS I see the Bordagain Shipping Company were Owned/Managed by a French Company, R. de la Sota Jr.

PPS. She was DARING not DARLING..... ;)

Also in Mr Lloyds big red book for 1969 she is down as Somali Republic, although no Port of registry is shown.
