Just a thought!

Can either of them get out of the Marina??????

Or are they stuck for ever and ever................

I suppose the powers-that-be could get the Trincomalee out of the the dock she is in. It used to be a dry dock in those year's gone by.

The Wingfield Castle is in the water, as we know, and both vessels could get through the lock gates - albeit somewhat a tight squeeze.

In saying that, I don't think there are any plans to move them.

As the FOUDROYANT on 30 August 1987, a few days after her arrival in the port for restoration.

A selection of views of her arriving on the Tees 28.07.87 onboard the barge GOLIATH PACIFIC with the MINERVA towed by the tug AVENGER. After going alongside the old Shell jetty she was floated off and moved into Tees Dock before going over to Hartlepool the following day with Tees tugs GREATHAM CROSS and COATHAM CROSS.
