Interesting ’One Off’ built for the Army (Royal Corps of Transport) by the famous Saunders Roe Company, then to RMAS and then private ownership in the the Tyne area. After a brief sojourn to Scotland now in Hartlepool Marina. Powered by the MOD’s engines of choice in the era when she was built, the RR 6cy Diesel x2. RR moved into what was Foden territory by offering a superb Engineering backup service and in some cases engines were leased by the MOD from RR as they are in today’s world with the Gas Turbines.
