She is a very unusual build for a Cargo vessel, looks more like an Expedition Motor Yacht, is she especially built for coiled cable? Looking at what is in the background.

She is actually a Fish Carrier, in service 24th April 2020. Her one inspection at Barrow-in Furnace (listed as Furnace, but assume B-in-F) on the 30th September does highlight a few paperwork issues.

Always think these vessels must be very "Wet" and not that comfortable in any sort of sea.

Incidentaly Stan, what is she loading, I assume its Live Fish but Hartlepool seems a strange place to do so.

I see she is on her way to Baltasound on Unst.

I had the idea due to the low freeboard amidships she might have a Carousel for cable onboard. As a live fish carrier it does seem a bit odd being at Hartlepool although Hartlepool eateries serve a nice Eggs Benedict with Salmon :)

Purpose built Wellboat built at a cost of £13.3 million and in service, April 2020. Registered Owner is Migdale Transport Ltd, Dornoch Firth. Flag:- Norway, Norwegian International Ship Register.
She can load up to 210 tonnes of adult live salmon.
While she was in Hartlepool she was Inspected and managed to tot up 12 Deficiencies which is a lot for a vessel of her age. Six were down to Documentation which I suspect may have something to do with Registry. Others were to do with Lack of a passage plan, Training in use of Life Saving Appliances and Structural Conditions relating to Stability/Strength, Loading info. and Instruments. - Not being as Required.

Not good for a 2020 vessel.
They built her from a scale model? :)
