Her name may look silly when deployed to some other area.

Interesting.

Because she is 106gt she makes it into Equasis (online version of Lloyd's Register) but they show her (official) name merely as OCEAN WIND 8 since entering service in April 2015.

So, is OF HARTLEPOOL just a temporary (unofficial) add-on?

On Sunday I spoke to one of the crew of the Wind Crew Workboats about the "Hartlepool" name on both 8 and 9 and he told me they were all called something of Hartlepool. I said, as fas I know, Ocean Wind 4 and Ocean Wind 6, that I have photographs of, did not have the full name on the bow. He said "No, but they have it on the stern".
