Looks like the Company is going to have to change its "Mission Statement" which reads "All our vessels are road transportable"
Nice little Haven with Cafe and Lifeboat Station if you can get parked.

Be interesting to see what gap in the market the owners have identified. Won't be towing many vessels in/out of Seaham I'm sure.

Perhaps the Owners are not on David's friends list to park up at Hartlepool Marina which seems to be full of 'heavy metal' these days considering it started off as moorings for Yachts/Motor Yachts rather than Commercial Vessels. All it needs is a sticking Clutch and somebody's pride and joy will be well crunched :o

Was always our worry in Hull marina when workboats started being allowed (as well as HMS trainee ships.)

G.M. Patrick, the last time I visited Hull Marina which was some years ago the only 'Heavy Metal' besides the static Lightship was a large Steel White painted Yacht which I understood belonged to a Master Butcher from somewhere in deepest Yorkshire, my ' viewing' coincided with a trip out on a Wartime built ex Military Vessel called "Pembroke Puffin" which I was cataloging.
Looking at the aforementioned Tug, being built not far from a Shipbreaking area makes you wonder if any Valves aboard are reconditioned items from scrapped vessels or repainted Blue Label tagged "Used but Serviceable" in military parlance. Ron@?

It may be that the Owners of the "Hope" have had a "Heads Up" in regards to the possible Strike action on the Tees by Svitzer ex Crosthwaite ex Crosthwaite Robinson ex Robinson Tug Crews :D and jump in to make some quick money.

The proposed Strike on the Tees is Off, looks like the possible Golden Goose/Eagle has flown the nest. A bit of a risk taking Strike Action when other Companies are nibbling at the heels of Svitzer for work on the Tees.
We do have a former "Golden Goose/Eagle on Site. :D, his appearance will have been always welcome, certainly the previous chap who held this High Office was and he paid in Cash too. No problems with some smart Alec hacking your Bank Account as most Employees didn't have one. :D
