Not Very!

I was surprised I got one sailing from Berwick when we were up at Holy Island the other week.

According to ports.org.uk, there are "around 250 shipping movements annually" at Berwick.
I presume this means 125 ship visits which would work out at an average of about one every 3 days.

Surely not all commercial ships then, do they count local vessels?

Not sure but it could be about right in a very good year..........

Checking Coastal Shipping for April Bernard's correspondent lists 9 callers for January of this year however the last three months of 2012 only had 8 in total.
