Albert Weller recorded the already veteran paddle-tug ROKER 119gt,
completed JP Rennoldson & Sons, South Shields 12-04.
1966 broken up. (by White JA & Co, St Davids, Fife)

The second picture must have been taken at Methil then.......cause its not the Tyne.

But, but, but ....!!! George was doing exactly the right thing by keeping postings on the one topic together, never mind what might be a more appropriate sub-forum! (Yes, this means subject matter could be divided, cross-referenced, etc., to other sub-forums, but that has been the case since day 1 of NEM!) We'll concentrate on staying on course, and keeping the holds full.

Background ships I think are JOHN CHARRINGTON and THAMESWOOD, which would date the photo between late 1957 and 04/1959.
