From Mike Fell, a fine photo of this shunting loco leaving one of the Alexandra Dock jetties with wagons of timber. In the 1950's no less than 14 of this class were allocated to Alexandra Dock. 8672 dates from 1900 when completed at Darlington works for the North Eastern Railway Company and lasted to 1962, latterly based at Dairycoates shed, Hull.
