“Streaks” as we used to call them were mine and many others Locomotive of choice in those Ian Allan days, seeing one of those especially “Mallard” was definitely a double underline in the “Locomotive Bible”. Drains open plenty of Steam issuing out on start up and no spotty faces the bonus of standing in the Steam cloud.
One Locomotive I would have liked to have seen is the GT3 with its Steam Plant in the Tender along with the Crew Corridor.
