Got this postcard from Kein today, posted 11/08/1937 so has taken a while to get here.

Could well be the Postman, sorry Postperson in the the Dinghy!

Interesting view of VENUS in her original form with flat-fronted bridge and a lower foredeck. After being a guest of the German Government and being sunk by us at Hamburg, she appeared in a more modern form with raked stem, new funnels and changes to accommodation.

On a Facebook page for local (north-east) shiiping interest she was identified as Bergen Lines STELLA POLARIS.
However, I cannot say whether or not this is correct.

At back of my mind was that Bergen had a cruise ship. Yes of course STELLA POLARIS
