Well, the ferry appears to be TYNEMOUTH and there's only 2 Tynemouths listed in MNL 1904. One is certainly a cargo ship and the other a smaller paddle driven craft owned by the River Tyne Commissioners and built in 1883 at North Shields. This would confirm something that I have wondered about for some time. Was the Hepple built TYNEMOUTH of 1883 a ferry or a tug? It looks as though she was a ferry. Thank you Sir.
