A recent wander along Newcastle quayside brought me to the point where the Ouseburn flows into the Tyne.
These views are a gentle reminder of days gone by and the new order of things on the river.
I imagine that not many visitors enjoying a cup of tea and a cake at The Cycle Hub will give a second thought to the way it was by the Ouseburn entrance.
