Captured in the early 70's as the grab dredger was passing downriver. I wonder if she had been working around Dunston Coal Staiths which were operational until 1980, the CWS Flour Mill and Clayton & Davies shipbreaking yard at Dunston would be the only other places above the Tyne bridges recieving the occasional vessel by this time.

Wherever she was, it does not look as if the pickings were very good due to the lack of material in her hopper.

Very nice picture though.
