Despite a cold wind blowing from a north easterly direction, and only patchy sunlight, wifey thought I really should get out of the car for some fresh air and excercise this morning, while she of course stayed in the car to read the newspaper. (don't forget your camera dear), and out I was pushed!
A few snapshots later, with watering eyes and frozen extremities I was ready to allow her to treat me to lunch!
I should add that after lunch we enjoyed a stroll along the beach, together

Good for you! What's going on the other side of the Custom House? Car park gone and also the drydock filled in?

I'm not sure wether or not the dry dock has been filled in. Anyone interested can see what is planned for part of the site by visiting Keepmoat.com, and their River's Edge development

George, I understand that three out of the four dry docks on the site will be retained in some form
