O. N.180278. 96g. 41n. 140d. 66.8 x 18.5 x 8.8 feet.
C.2-cyl. (10½” & 22” x 14”) by Elliot & Garood Ltd, Beccles. 12.7nhp; 100rhp; 130ihp. 7½ knots. Boiler by Clayton, Sons & Co. Ltd, Leeds.
1967: Refitted with a diesel engine.
1944: Launched by Brown’s Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co. Ltd, Hull (Yard No. 15)
17.7.1944: Registered at Hull, vessel No. 89 of 1944.
9.1944: Completed for the Ministry of War Transport, London, (Stanley Lancelot Tottle, Hull, manager at the Ministry).
3.8.1944 until 18.11.1944: Not allocated to duties. T. Phelan & Co. Ltd., Liverpool / Birkenhead, managers under care and maintenance.
19.11.1944 until 12.2.1945: Allocated to armament supply duties (Fraser & White Ltd, managers).
13.2.1945: Allocated to miscellaneous naval duties ( W D Tamlyn & Co Ltd, managers)
4.1946: Owner restyled as the Ministry of Transport.
1947: Transferred to the Admiralty.
19.2.1947: Hull registry closed consequent of transfer to the Admiralty.
1968: Sold to W. J. Havens, London and renamed ELDESA.
1972: Sold to Hugh Carmichael, Craignure, Mull.
1983: Sold to Chris Nicholson, Argyll.
1984: Sold to Easdeal Island Shipping, Oban and renamed EILEAN EASDEAL.
2001: Based as an exhibit at Inverary Maritime Experience, Inverary as VITAL SPARK
Still there in 2016
