This is taken from Scotia Quay looking downriver towards Wylam Wharf and the Fish Quay.

Well they've got just over a year to move some of that mud otherwise they will have to park the Tall Ships in the middle of the river.

From Corporation Quay going upriver the river has never been properly dredged since about 1990.There was a survey boat in the other month and they said it is the worst they have came across.It will cost a few quid to get the place dredged for the Tall Ships.
