Blyth built Hydragale behind, other company ship was JESMAR. SPERUS and JESMAR laid up at Blyth around 1979 before moving down to Sunderland, must have been cheaper lay up fees. They and many others got a new lease of life by being converted to survey vessels for North Sea work.
