Blyth ferry

The one and only picture I ever took at Blyth. Timewise my guess would be about 1964.

Not as easy as you think young George...........

But I think the Grey Funnel Line is the Minelayer APOLLO which arrived on the 28th November 1962.

The Tanker has a double word name soooooooooo I think it has to be the BRITISH DRAGOON which arrived on the 12th December 1962.

Not sure how long the Apollo was laid up before she was taken in hand and I'm guessing the next Tanker BRITISH CONSUL which arrived on the 30th April 1963 would be to late.

So I would say we are looking between 28th November 1962 to the 30th April 1963.
