One of thirteen Panamax bulk carriers built between Thompsons, (JLT), and Laings, (SJL), five of which were for Yugoslavia. Jadran was Thompsons contract 735 built at Laings whilst Laings 855, Sutjeska contract was built at Thompsons. All of these ships were fitted with Doxford 760J8 engines. yard numbers below are followed in brackets with Doxford engine works contract number.

JLT 737 (451) Kosmaj (Fire beneath ship when 65% complete, March 19th 1977)
JLT 738 (452) Kordun

SJL 852 (425) Naiad
SJL 853 (426) Melete
SJL 854 (428) Mersey BridgeCambridgeshire, Eastrey, Festival, Anemos, Patmos, Broken up 2000 Aliaga
