After completing trials in 1934 ARCWEAR bunkered on the River Tyne before proceeding to Immingham to load coal for the River Plate
With a much altered appearance compared to her early days ARCWEAR in the shape of HELENE is seen approaching the Tyne piers in this shot taken in 1968
Launched by Short Bros. in 1934 as ARCWEAR for the Arcwear Shipping Co.
