This is the second ship that I have recorded as being the first tramp sunk in world war two!! 05.09.1939
Both records may be wrong, one wrong, one right or vice versa, but they both can't be right !!
Mike Baxter has this as with Thompsons (Not Crowns), Bretwalda, the first two ships to have Hall Brothers new emblem on funnel.

Tony, correct details are as shown here for both ships, it was the Sceptre that was the war loss.
