It seems that back in those early days I was sometimes intrigued by some relatively small detail in the structure of a ship. Here I seem to recall liking the construction of the stanchions and cross-section supports in the superstructure of the BENCRUACHAN (5040794). The MARTAND (see: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=4790) was likewise to me!

If it was anything like the Borgsten, maybe they were there because the accommodation was shaking everyone to death. :)
