Prince Edward and Princess Royal at Doxfords 1929. windy day. So that's where Kate Middleton got the idea from :P

Doxfords main office. A luxurious place. Superb builders models all around. looks like model of Yngaren engine. Robert Doxford in attendance. Up a huge wide opulent staircase was a gallery surrounded by offices. A huge roof window provided perfect natural light

It is as well!!

One spare in the normal position and another on the roof, just in case!

They came for a three day visit in June 1917. Assume this was it?

I don't know the dates so I will take your word for it. I am learning that you are inherently accurate and wouldn't dare to contradict you ;) I wondered what the car was, its a shame that the other cars cannot be seen fully, I like the look of the rearmost left one. The driver seems to have gloves on and a hat in one hand.

I don't always get it right!!

But we try our best!!

Don't have a clue about any of the cars though. They all look like something you would borow from the Undertaker.

You must know some very good natured undertakers, most I have had to do with wouldn't lend you a hymn sheet at a funeral service, except for a small fee or gratuity.

Only knew one Undertaker personally and I was quite young at the time.

He had a shady past having been in the States during Prohibition!
