Another photo taken on my trusy "Box Bownie".

BALTIC VANGUARD launched at the Pallion Yard of Doxford & Sunderland 07/01/1966 receiving her engines at Manor Quay.

3,005 Tons Gross.

Sold 1977 and converted into the Container ship CORTES.

Deleted 25th August 2011 as the JULL II, existance in doubt.

Built in 1966 by Doxford's.

Renamed CORTES in 1977; LADY M A CROSBIE in 1978; DAUPHINE in 1984; SHERYN M in 1995; BLUE DOLPHIN in 1999; JULL II in 2002.

Yard number 872, sister ship to Baltic Venture, yard number 866 in 1965, Ice breakers, I seem to remember

One of the first Doxford built motor-ship to have a non-Doxford engine.
