Owned by Ragnar Kallstrom, and I logged her somewhere on the Tees on 25 June 1960 (that will send Ron to his diary).

George,

Five months before I started to go "down by the riverside"!
But I did see her myself at No. 6 DW Buoys on 15 October 1961.

George/Ron,
From the few records I still have from 1960, I saw from Saltburn seafront arriving in August or September 1960, and again later in the year on the Tees.

One of Doxford's finest!
Launched on 9th June 1936 and I believe completed in just two months, for Sir R Ropner & Co., as WEARPOOL
1954 Sold to Swedish owner Ragnar Källström who used her primarily to transport iron ore from Lulea and Oxelösund
1964 Sold to Skarasteel Steel Shipping Co, Greece, renamed LEFKIPOS
1971 Sold to the Leanhe Navigation Co.Ltd., Cyprus, renamed DIMITROS
She was demolished at La spezia in 1979 after spending a lengthy lay-up at Piraeus

Here she seen at the Commissioner's buoys, North Shields, on 30th April 1962

Ideas on what the wooden ladder is for at the stern?

Ship to Shore transportation by Foy Boat. Probably safer than the vertical Pilot Ladder.
