(named after the British nurse executed at Brussels)
Sefton S.S. was a British subsidiary of Soc. Gen. de Transports Maritimes (SGTM), Marseille
Wrecked on 30/11/1924 at Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, Guyana in position 05.54N 54.00W and broken in two on 02/12/1924
Voyage from Marseille via Cayenne for Fort de France with general cargo

The wrecked hull remains visible close to the shore and has been invaded by vegetation during the past 80 years,
as shown in these photos also kindly sent by Georges Icard
