ROSETTA MAUD in Tees Dock. A view I do not find listed among Albert's negatives. I posted this view on TEESSHIPS way back in 2001 (seems just like yesterday!!) The data I gave at that time was:
From my own records - ROSETTA MAUD, British flag, 5806gt, completed by Bartram & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, 2-1954 as BRITISH MONARCH (which she was the only time I saw this ship), Monarch Steamship Co. Ltd., Glasgow, managed by Harrisons (Clyde) Ltd. 1964 ARDTARA (British), 1966 HYPERION (British), 1967 ROSETTA MAUD, damaged by fire May 1972, 1972 broken up.
BRITISH TRAMPS by Ian Stewart helps fill some of the gaps. Management by Harrisons was taken on in 1960. 1964 ARDTARA owned by Mullion & Co. Ltd., Hong Kong - registered Glasgow!, 1966 transferred to Gibraltar (British) flag. 1967 HYPERION, Hyperion Shipping Co. Ltd., (Gibraltar [British]). 1967 ROSETTA MAUD, Redfern Shipping Co. Ltd., Hamilton, Bermuda - registered London. 1969 managed by Red Anchor Line Ltd., Hong Kong. Sold Pakistan breakers and arrived Karachi 26.5.1972; 28.5.1972 abandoned 20 miles from Karachi when fire broke out in engine room, bound Karachi to Gadani Beach. 12.6.1972 returned to Karachi and subsequently scrapped.
I see the above raises a small discrepancy over when she became HYPERION. My date came from Lloyd's Register during my then annual updates. (2012: However, Miramar now supports the 1967 date, so there was probably a subsequent amendment in the Register entry.)

It sounds like a name that would sit comfortably among those of Duchess, Duke, Knight, Princess, Queen, Sovereign and Viscount, all of which have appeared at some stage among the tankers of the BP Tanker Co.

It does seem odd that BP never used this name, maybe only because it had long been used by Monarch SS Co., as was KING. Nearest they got was BRITISH QUEEN, huge at 50,000 dwt when completed in 12/1959. How things were to change ....
