Sunk by torpedo and gunfire from U.38 on 17/10/1940 in 59N 13W
Sorel for Manchester with wheat.
The vessel with the white riband on Bartram's fitting-out quay bears a good resemblance to AGIOS GEORGIOS IV, launched under yard number 279 on 14/4/1938 and completed in 7/1938, and a photo can be found in 'Record 16' at page 260. She also was a war loss, being sunk by gunfire from a Japanese submarine off Madagascar on 8/6/1942. The other vessel could be one of the following yard numbers, LODESTONE (280) or SUVA
Just found her in the files as CEDAR BRANCH
