APPLELEAF (GEORGE LYRAS)

The tanker APPLELEAF was built in 1955 by Bartram and Sons Ltd. as GEORGE LYRAS and was renamed APPLELEAF whilst on charter as a fleet tanker.

Largest ship ever to built by Bartrams.Completed on the Tyne (to big for the South Docks)

No need for them to worry about its size, at least they had plenty of room to launch it.
