Two distant, but fascinating, views of the EGTON at Sunderland taken by Albert Weller. I presume these would date from May 1963 while she was laid-up following completion in September 1962. Looking back to Albert Weller's photo, in the background is BRITISH CAVALIER, ready for launching 19/09/1962, quite complete as she was delivered in November.

But we can also see our frequent friend GREENLAND, not launched until 19/06/1962, so maybe EGTON was parked here ahead of her completion date, perhaps to make room at South Dock for LLANWERN, launched by Bartram on 19/07/1962.
