Interesting Funnel.

Its listed as Welsh Overseas freighters Ltd, Newport, Gwent and appears to be a Lion Climbing a ladder.

At one time held record for largest ever cargo of ore into Tees....owned by the Gibbs family....

Also had a smaller bulker WELSH VOYAGER in 1977 and 3 x SD14's WELSH TRIDENT, ENDEAVOUR, TROUBADOUR all from A&P.

In the same time period they also had the WELSH HERALD (1968 Built.)

By 1982 they were down to the WELSH VOYAGER but they also had the UNION GEM (1977) however she was under the Management of Union Transport.
