Morning gents

One for the senior ones of us, the nearest tug is Rescue but racking my grey hairs as to the name of the other tug alongside which almost looks her sister

Also 'I think' its taken from the fish quay ?

Thanks Mike

EARL OF GLAMORGAN.
Robert Lumley Cook, Sunderland. 1892 to 1904.

The RESCUE was owned by Robert Lumley Cook et al Sunderland from 1878 to 1897 when she foundered off Seaham Harbour, so they were together for a while.

The later RESCUE had two funnels, side by side so its not that one.

Suggest the picture might have been taken at sunderland.

Paul

Found another RESCUE which could be a more likley candidate.

Ex BROTHERS, (Blt J R Maxwell, South Shields 1883) to Robert Lumley Cook, Sunderland in 1897, renamed RESCUE.
Owned by various members of the Cook Family until she was broken up in 1915.

Cheers Guys
Blowing the picture up it looks a long name but very faded so best bet could be Earl of Glamorgan
