I was going to make a comment about "going blind" but thought better of it, as it would only bring down the high quality of the postings on NEM. But I see our noble leader couldn't control himself.

Actually, its a Party to celebrate the achievements of Fred Peacock, who has been Church Organist and Choirmaster at St Georges Church, Jesmond for 50 Years.

Amongst other 'Jobs' he is also Organist at Trinity House on the Quayside, or to be more accurate Broad Chare........
