Sold to the French navy in 1973 and named Le Couregant, would be doubtful if she's still around.

She stayed in the "book" for a long time but eventually, per Equasis: No Longer updated by (LRF) IHSF (since 10-08-2010)
which = deleted - existence in doubt.

BOBBY SHAFTOE (5046982), originally owned by Central Electricity Authority, 561gt,

Might be wrong on this one but I seem to remember someone saying they were very well equipped, Accommodation wise.

Agree Paul, remember Bessie surtees loading at behind Bates when we were supplying a Stevies loading at Bates and there were several remarks about how well the accomodation was. Can only assume because she was owned by us that money was not an option. Perhaps her and her sisters being built in the mid 1950s as post war austerity was coming to an end we splashed out a bit.

Interesting!! I wonder if she was sold to France before 1973?? Or was she tarted-up to be sold.

She has both masts up as well. I cannot recall a picture of her on the river with the foremast up.

Tarted up? Well she should look Bonny of course!
I hadn't before looked at the origins of the song.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Shafto

But see the footnote
"This article is incorrect in that it does not explain the lyric of the song. Bobby ShaftoE was an officer in the Royal Navy around Nelson's time - hence, Bobby Shaftoe's gone to sea - silver buckles on his kneee.... Edited by Christopher F. Shaftoe"
