Looks like a pretty good match. Unfortunatley the hull form would be shared with another few hundred tugs of that era, but the paddle box is more unique. Kevin had a look through Proud's book looking for a match on the paddle box and didn't find one so Hercule Parrot strikes again. Well done.

Ah, you cannot beat Hercule Parrot, never lost a case yet (a few briefcases maybe, oh and that laptop .... )

Ah, but, there is one big difference ... although not sure if it is significant or not?

Our mystery tug has that thin pipe (steam whistle, or similar, asks this ignorant landlubber?) in front of the funnel - the GYPSY KING does not .... although might it have been removed at some stage?

Whereas the TEAZER has that pipe and the same number of flutes .... but I'm not saying that is QED!
