Riley boilers

Postby northeast » Wed May 01, 2019 7:28 am

Interesting and unusual request, can anyone find info that would connect boilers made by Riley of Stockton to ships built at Sunderland? Enquirer is descended from a haulage company that used a traction engine to haul the boilers from Riley's to the Wear shipyards, probably in 1920-30's. Seeking photos of any ships that might have had Riley boilers installed.

Understand the enquirer has been in touch with Dennis, I have also asked Ian Buxton if he can assist.
