I wrote the history of her and her four sisters - basically L&RT's motorised barges before Ken Garrett's book came out.
From memory I think she was laid up at Swansea out of class and there seemed to be some doubt as to her future.
One sank - as Calf Sound, one disintegrated on the west coast of Ireland and one found a new life in the Thames sand trade on a govt. subsidy before she was broken up too.
Profitable ships on the 'share trade' basis

Prompted by Graham, I have now found the following fuller details of her fate:

Details from: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/363161/29224149
Fate, as noted by Gil Mayes in photo of CADENCE as BURE(Ships Nostalgia) :Mid 2000 laid up at Castletownbere but broke away from mooring and went on beach, sustaining extensive damage to rudder steering gear and bottom. Refloated and moored off Valentia Island and later owned by Martin Moriarity, Valentia. Irish Dept of Marine refused permission to sink her as a dive site and she was sold to John McCarthy, Caherciveen, Co. Kerry who resold her to Messrs Hergarty Hammond, Limerick for scrap. Eventually towed alongside the quay at Caherciveen and work started 2 Feb 2007
