A fine old steamer from Earle's, one of many for local owner Wilson who had family connections to the shipyard

Interesting Design, George.

Built of Iron and I see she also had Accommodation for 12 First Class Passengers.

The very similar KELSO also had the same 1st Class and space for 196 'Others'.

The 'others' would be because Wilson's were heavily involved in the emigrant trade from Scandinavia to the USA, they came to Hull then via special trains to Liverpool for 'onward shipment' probably more like cattle than people!
