Regarding the cargo ship outboard of the Port Line ship in the first photo - probably the Conway of Conway Transport Corporation, Liberia, and formerly Strick's Armanistan, being renamed in 1965.

In the black and white photo the Port Line ship is the Port Wellington and the ship bow on in Smiths looks like the Booker Venture. The Port ship in the colour photo is the Port Adelaide.
