Great photo but, not wishing to be picky, this must be Brighams surely.

A wee story about this vessel...1972,My wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary in Narvik, having gone there in the Livanita. Sunday morning we took the small tender to walk around Narvik........whilst the weather was reasonable it was cold and everywhere was closed.....including the church and the bus station. However, the Dalhanna was on the ore quay and I went and stood at bottom of the gangway and said to a slightly scruffy man..."Is the old man onboard"...."Who is asking" so I told him who I was professionally...." Oh come on board, I am the Master and the Officers would like to talk to you about where you have been sending us, Murmansk,Narvik,Seven Islands etc"................anyway, in exchange for a Chicken Sunday lunch I had to promise a trip to the sun....which was Monrovia the following month ( after another Narvik which I didn't mention!).

First wedding anniversary is paper, were there not any newsprint carriers you could have visited.
Sunday dinner any ship, any company, anywhere was roast chicken and Sunday tea was steak and chips

Oh and apart from the two BRITISH tankers in the background over at Smith's it looks like Shipping & Coal's FORELAND alongside as well

We only had 10 days holiday left that year so 4 days Tyne to Narvik, a day loading and 4 days back to Tees fitted the bill.
