Albert Edward Dock

Not sure if this is the right place to post but found this old picture from 1927 of the Albert Edward Dock and the old Tyne Commissioners Quay, what a change to todays Northumbrian Quay and the Royal Quays Marina.
Even today we have one of the deepest marinas in the UK, currently I have 22' under my keel, even today many do not realise how deep the present remaining lock is (see my picture last year when it was emptied for Mainternace).
The lock is 41m long, gates 8m wide,17.1m wide inside and the outer cill is 3.3m below chart datum
