T.C.C. DREDGER NO. 6: 396gt;
1903 completed by Fleming & Ferguson of Paisley for Tees Conservancy Commissioners;
1933 sold to L.N.E.R. and renamed JOHN RENNIE, based at Grimsby;
1949 transferred to British Transport Commission;
1952 Sold to BISCO and allocated to Stockton Shipping & Salvage Co.
Demolition commenced July 1952.

Unless my memory is playing tricks there was also No7 and No 8 Dredgers working, although I stand to be corrected.

Thank You for the info George, Iam sure there was an incident with one of them when a vessel went the wrong side and got caught up in the wires whilst dredging was being carried out on the stretch between the Furness Basin and Newport Bridge.
