Just been looking at the Bovril Boat " Shieldhall" on utube her main engines reminded me that the same Engines were fitted to the following Craft of the TCC. Numbers 5,6 and 1 (twin screw) a very reliable piece of machinery, not a lot to be done on them barring for the occasional shim removal from the L.P. Valve Eccentric Straps and then the same thickness of shim was placed under the appropriate Leg, there was certainly a competition on who kept the smartest Engineroom between 5 and 6 with G.W. (Chief on No 6) in the lead whilst I was Relief Chief on them.
