29 under the bridge at Hessle foreshore near the Humber rescue ramp and 30 off Chowderness.

Ventured up that way yesterday when the fog had cleared a bit and sat in the North channel past the Counrty Park Inn for a while, then the fog started returning so back to the marina. Saw THARSIS off Read's Island on AIS but not visually.

The next below No.30 appeared to be a green one off Hessle but below the bridge I think.

So it is Chowder Ness .... not Chalder Ness?????? (THARSIS header et al)

I'm not familiar with these strange Lincolnshore names .... was following Simon's lead on the name!
But this shows Chowder

Chalder Ness seems to be in the Shetlands, seems a long way round to get from Spurn to Goole

I've always known it 'verbally' as Chowder Ness Ron, but official river charts have it printed as Chalderness - maybe my way is how it's pronounced?

The 31, Cappers West, 32C and 34 were moved on January 7th. Further moves for the Middle Whitton, 32B, Upper Whitton and 32C are scheduled for the 18th.

Shouldn't 32a be a red float Simon?

Also I wonder if the ebb flow 'bouncing' off Brough might break through the inner Read's Island route above Winteringham? The charts do show it getting closer there.

Thanks for spotting my deliberate mistake Patrick! No doubt further changes will follow before long.

Must be many years since we had shipping inside Reed's .... possibly in 1980's? I remember a Harbour Master talking about removing some stone groyne or similar in order to improve access.
Is it still heavily silted at the South Ferriby end though? Maybe clearing since I last looked.

I think if it does break through, due to the narrow channel it would soon scour out. Depths seem reasonable except at the North West end where it would need to break through
