Dennis, my first visit to Hull resulted in my seeing here here on 7 May 1966 so maybe we were fellow visitors or close anyway!
Wish I had had a camera in those days.
This berth is now under the Princes Quay shopping centre.
So much for 'Culture' in the City of Culture 2017!

Hi George.

All of my May 1966 pictures at Hull were taken on the occasion of a WSS Tyneside Branch visit - one of my, regrettably, very infrequent visits to the port. Is it still possible to acquire a dock pass permitting photography or has the Port Security Code put an end to such things?
Regards, Dennis.

Sorry no passes for many years now, Dennis!
Best you can do is use the riverside public walkway and take photos at each of the dock entrances when anything is on the move.

Since 2004 the only chance of getting on the dock is a tour on a bus on heritage days, however I have read of plans to have an open day (same as Immingham had) to commemorate 100 years
