BRONINGTON built by Cook, Welton & Gemmell (854) in 1954 as HMS HUMBER, seen at Manchester Dry Docks in 9/1991.
She arrived in Manchester in 1/1989 to be preserved as a museum ship, but spent several years at the dry docks. She is now in Birkenhead as can be seen in the 3rd picture, a rather distant view taken from the top end of West Float on 22/6/2013. Anyone know her current status?

Don't know about status, but state is 'crap'! Seems that all the Birkenhead fleet has been abandoned since the museum closed.
Maybe Prince Charles will appear and magically save his old ship. He can afford it. Seems to be owned by a Trust, see

She is abandoned and lying on the bottom in this shallow part of the dock, to prevent her from sinking completely.
Seems to be beyond salvation!
Taken during the DAPS Birkenhead Docks cruise (and you don't get many chances to be afloat in the Floats!)
