Good one Kevin, I can't recall seeing a photo before this of the PP fitting out. The only time I saw her was by reading the name on her stern still on the stocks during a downriver trip on 27 July 1960!

Oh, that takes me right back! Three of the ships I saw on my first ever visit to the Tyne on 14 February 1961.

And, George, from the annals of TEESSHIPS, my photos (sic) of the PRINCIPE PERFEITO taken during my next visit on 26 May 1961 at which time she had been completed for delivery that same month.
*****
In my first year of observing ships I visited the Tyne in February, May, and August 1961.
On 14 February 1961 I first saw ...

... the PRINCIPE PERFEITO and, on 26 May 1961, I was able to photograph her virtually complete (never mind the fact I have had to apply five degrees of right rudder to bring the image reasonably level!).

OK, well I got some of her in!
