EMPRESS OF CANADA (1961)

EMPRESS OF CANADA (5103936), Canadian Pacific, 27284gt, launched Vickers-Armstrongs, High Walker (Tyne) on 10.05.1960 and completed 04.1961.

Subsequent career: 1972 MARDI GRAS - 1993 OLYMPIC - 1994 STAR OF TEXAS - 1995 APOLLON - 1997 OLYMPIC 2004 - 1998 APOLLON - 2003 APOLLO, BU Alang 5.12.03
I and, I imagine, many others were thrilled to see her back on the river of her birth as APOLLON on 28 June 1998.
I took the following views of her sailing from the Tyne.
