George. Congratulations are due, it was only 18,263 days ago after all.

Whilst you tied the knot and got hitched,
i was learning my knots and hitches.

You could still get ten pints of bitter for a quid then and still be sober it was so awful.

There were that many pubs in Blyth you could get drunk walking from Bates into the town centre and still have change from a groat and a fthing!!

The Festival Bar at Southsea was the place to go if you were at Pompey (haunt of the Royal Yachties with their little Bows attached) and the also ran who didn't have that particular attachment. Longest Bar in G.B. and nearly everybody smoking Blue Liners, if you threw an empty but distinctive RN empty fag packet away outside it was immediately picked up by some kid as a souvenir.
